a review: TIGI catwalk fashionista smooth & shine

this is a review of TIGI catwalk's fashionista smooth & shine. my opinions are unbiased and i'm fully honest with you, for better or for worse.

  

this is basically a heat protectant cream that makes your hair smooth and shiny, as the name indicates. overall i really really like this product and i've used it for a long time. i probably will buy it again when i run out of it. i will say, it does help make you hair straight. so you're better off using it if straight hair is what you're looking for. the way i usually use it is applying a little bit on each piece of hair i'm going to straighten with the flat iron. and it works really well. (i let my hair air dry, usually, but i've used it to protect against the heat from the blow dryer, and it works fine)

 pros:

really provides protection against the heat from the blow dryer and the flat iron.

makes my hair sooo soft! very touchable and bouncy. 

locks in the moisture very nicely when i use it with my flat iron.

you get a lot of product, and it will last you for a long time, since you don't have to use a lot.

makes my hair shiny, but not shinier than soft.

cons:

it has an overpowering scent. really overpowering. it's nice, but it's so strong it makes me gag a little sometimes. but only when you're using it, because after you use it it leaves a very light scent on the hair, like a toned down version of the actual scent. which is very nice and i like it.

conclusion

this is an all-time favorite of mine. it just does the job the way i want it to. i love it! i recommend it to everyone who was soft, smooth, shiny, silky, bouncy, touchable STRAIGHT hair.
